We had our first focus forum last week and it was so much fun. If you were there, we loved seeing you. And if you missed it, stay tuned; we’ll be hosting more of these in the future.
It was a wonderful night, at a beautiful spot.
This free, intimate event started off with appetizers and drinks, then we gathered in a circle for a time of thought-provoking round table discussion.
Our topic for the night was, Who do you think God is? and it was great to see women from all backgrounds, ages and perspectives share and connect in community.
We love bringing women together like this—encouraging each other and creating fun, safe places to talk about life’s big questions.
It’s a beautiful thing to gather, listen, and lean into each other’s lives. And it’s our hope that by getting together like this and sharing in one another’s journey, we can all take steps toward the fuller lives we believe each woman is meant to experience.
Here’s what a few attendees had to say:
The girls night out was sooo good. What a great place to meet new friends and have a meaningful discussion that leaves you walking away wanting more. Thank you to Pam, Genny and Kirsten for giving us space to ponder and process a great topic–Who do you think God is? Can’t wait for the next one! -Cindy Penner
It was so good to join you last night. You have a gift! Speak softly and lead gently. My thought is you could do this once a month. Loved it! Loved it! -Mimi Barnes:
I wanted to thank you very much for a wonderful event. The atmosphere and environment was very welcoming and comfortable to allow sharing. It is wonderful to hear a lot of different perspectives on a topic, and being that “toddler” hanging onto a table to stand, I love hearing encouraging words. I look forward to future events. -Marie Bee
We’re also thinking about holding a summer discussion group to dig into what the Bible says about joy. If you’re interested, send us an email and let us know! We also have a workshop on Conquering Fear scheduled for October. We’d love to have you join us for that too.
All our best,
Pam, Genny and Kirsten
