LIFT Founders and Current Leadership
When the original founders (Genny, Kirsten and Pam, below) first met, they had no idea of the adventure they would embark on together—the adventure that turned into LIFT. As they met for coffee, and as they shared their hearts and passion to help women, one thing led to another, and LIFT was born.
From the tiny hope that the first LIFT event might draw a few women, to the full gatherings and workshops, it's been humbling and amazing to see what happens when women come together in community! LIFT has evolved and expanded over the years, and is now spearheaded by Pam, but Kirsten and Genny are cheering on the continued efforts and love seeing how many women are linking arms to Live Inspired, Fearless and Thriving lives.
Genny Heikka is a published author and speaker who is fueled by a passion to help women reach their full potential and live out their purpose. She’s been mentoring women and helping them achieve their goals for over 17 years and has served in a variety of leadership roles within corporate, non-profit and ministry organizations. She holds an MBA and founded Her Team Success to help women excel at leadership and gain skills they need to advance in their lives and careers. Kirsten Holmberg is a compelling speaker and writer who inspires audiences to overcome the challenges they face every day. As a speaker, she connects with both students and adults, addressing the challenges of life with equal parts wisdom and wit. She’s a wife, mother to three, and a recovering multi-tasker. Her straight-forward, funny, down-to-earth style may even fool you into thinking she’s an extrovert—but she’s not. Connect with Kirsten at her website, her FB page, Instagram, and twitter.
Pam Strain serves with Search Boise in a mentoring role with women throughout the Treasure Valley. She enjoys creating safe places for women to openly explore the tough questions and challenges of life. She and her husband have raised four sons and have recently written a parenting book together—Spiritual Seeds—which received a best parenting book award in the North American Book Awards. She is empathetic, encouraging, and has a strong passion for helping women discover and embrace who they are and what their purpose is. One of her favorite hobbies is “soul sloshing”—talking with women over a cup of coffee about matters of the heart.
