Meet Pam!
Pam Strain is the Women’s Director of You Gotta Ask, Inc., and serves in a mentoring role with women throughout the Treasure Valley. She co-founded LIFT, which exists to create impactful, relational events and gatherings that welcome all women and encourage them to live inspired, fearless, and thriving lives.
For 40+ years, Pam has devoted her life to come along side women and cheer them on in life. She loves creating safe places for women to openly explore tough questions and life challenges. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside women to help them discover and embrace who they are and their unique purpose.
She works alongside her husband of 40 years, Jon, who directs their nonprofit, You Gotta Ask Inc.
Her interactive presentation, The Beginnings of You will help you explore the origins of identity and the truth of your innate uniqueness.

- I grew up on a farm (but I can’t grow things)
- Favorite activity is Soul Sloshing (ask her about it!)
- I love live music
- I have 5 grandsons and they are the best!
Meet Ellen!
Ellen Stevens is a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, writer, and the founder of The Center for Faith and Psychology. She is passionate about exploring and honoring the sacredness of our stories, bodies, and souls. Ellen and her husband of 27 years have full lives with their three adult sons, two wiggly grandchildren, and two scraggly dogs.
Ellen spoke at last year’s Shine Bright LIFT event and was a hit! You will enjoy her authentic, soulful, informative and disarming style.

- I accidentally swam with a Humpback whale.
- I learned to fly a plane at 14.

Genny Heikka is the Director of Marketing and Leadership Development at CBH Homes. Certified in Emotional Intelligence and Working Genius Coaching, Genny is passionate about helping others thrive and succeed. She is an active mentor and business leader in the community. She and her husband Mike are empty nesters and love spending time outdoors and spoiling their Goldendoodle Winston and rescue cat Motor.
